NEW TOUR IN HANOI: Explore the night tour of Temple of Literature

Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (The Temple of Literature) has been more sparkling and magical thanks to light and 3D Mapping technologies which are applied to introduce the beauty of the relic site the nation's education through a night tour themed “Essence of Education”.

Temple of Literature night tour was officially launched in the beginning of Nov 2023, aiming to provide visitors with new and unique experiences. 

Visitors are swept up into a mystical realm as soon as they pass through the Temple of Literature's main gate, which is accompanied by traditional music and 3D mapping technology.

 

An initial surprise for guests is a beam of light coming from the Khue Van Cac window. The light converts the Khue Van Cac into a "lighthouse," which is another way of saying a lighthouse of wisdom, and it also shines directly at the rooftop of Dai Trung gate.

Additional intriguing new experiences can be had in the Thien Quang Well and Doctoral Stele Garden areas. The campus here is surrounded by tree canopies that are all lit up with varying hues of light.

The Bái Đường area is the next location on the route along the Temple of Literature's night. The Temple of Literature's genesis and formation story is conveyed through a design approach that infuses modern elements while preserving the essence of traditional values.

The key highlight of the night tour is the centerpiece of the "Essence of Education" performance which assist guests in learning about the most fundamental principles of Vietnamese education, the front portion of the Thai Hoc Hall is transformed into a massive screen for the performance. During the program, visitors have chance to enjoy amazing experience at calligraphy class. 

The Temple of Literature night tour is conducted every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 19:00 until 22:00. You will definitely have a fantastic time taking the night tour of the Temple of Literature, which is a terrific venue to learn about Vietnamese history and culture.
