Day 1 Arrival In Saigon
You will be welcomed on arrival and transferred to your hotel in Center City. You have free time at leisure after your long flight.

OPTIONAL: Street food tour by motorbike
Tonight, get ready to explore Saigon’s exciting night time culinary scene from the back of a motorbike. The food adventure includes the ride through small alleys to experience the real Saigon as well as street food gems where you will sit down and sample the trendiest dishes which are well-known, well-loved and enjoyed by locals. This is another approach to get in touch with Saigon’s soul through its gastronomy when the sun goes down.
Day 2 Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels
This morning, you will depart Ho Chi Minh City for a one hour and a half drive northwest to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, going through urbanized areas and a typically lush southern Vietnamese countryside. Tour the vast network of underground passageways to gain an insight into the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels as well as the perseverance and ingenuity of the Vietnamese during combat.
In the afternoon, embark on a walking tour to explore Saigon's historic landmarks. Begin at Dong Khoi Street, formerly Rue Catinat during the French occupation, and admire beautifully restored French colonial buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Marvel at the Opera House and the former Hotel de Ville, both remarkable architectural gems. Walk to the red-brick Notre Dame Cathedral with twin spires (exterior only) and the Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel. Conclude the tour with a short drive to the former Presidential Palace, which served as the Saigon Government headquarters during the American war, providing insight into Saigon's turbulent past.

Day 3 Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh Long – Can Tho
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taking a road trip to Vinh Long and visit the Vinh Long Market in town. This will afford you the best photo opportunities of fish, shrimp, shrimp, crabs, snakes, rice field rats, tropical fruits, and vegetables ... Continue the trip by a boat cruise to visit the local workshops where you will see how to make rice leaves, coconut candies and rice popcorn. Enjoy a variety of candies with a hot cup of tea.
Then we will wander around to visit an orchard and its local family. We will enjoy various types of fruit and tea while listening to traditional music.

In the afternoon, continue with a boat trip along the Mekong River and observe many floating cages for fish farming. Then we go through the My An Canal to see many brick kilns on both sides and return to the Hòa Tịnh Canal. We will walk in the peaceful village to see how they make bricks, trays and bamboo baskets ... You will also learn how they make conical hats by hand.
Then our driver will take you to Can Tho overnight.

Day 4 Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Da Nang – Hoi An
After breakfast at the hotel, we will be cruising along the small and picturesque tributaries by rowboat where we will see the Cai Rang Floating Market. Take in the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals. Walk around a village, visit a rice husking mill. After disembarking you will transfer to Can Tho Airport for a flight to Da Nang.
Upon landing at Da Nang Airport, you will be picked up by your local guide and go to Hoi An Ancient town for hotel check in. Free time for relaxing on the beach.

Day 5 Hoi An Countryside By Scooter
After breakfast, your driver will take you into the Hoi An countryside. Explore a quiet island village, visit a 100-year-old ancestral house and a traditional boat building yard. Enjoy a scooter ride through village roads, with stops to learn about mat weaving, farming, and making Banh Dap (rice crackers) from local families. Visit a local café to taste drip coffee and discover coffee roasting. Then, head to the coast, passing Casuarina Pine and Cashew Nut trees, and explore Noi Rang Market and Duy Hai Fish Market to experience local trade culture.
(Note: The Noi Rang market closes before 10:00am).
In the afternoon, visit Hoi An's UNESCO-listed Ancient Town. Explore its narrow lanes and discover highlights like old merchant houses reflecting Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese architectural influences, the iconic 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the beautifully carved Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation. You'll also find art galleries and tailor shops for custom-made clothing. Visit a craftsman's house to learn about the history and making of lanterns, a symbol of Hoi An, including their shapes and colors.

Day 6 Hoi An – Da Nang – Hanoi
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Da Nang Airport for a flight to Hanoi.
On arrival, you will be welcomed by our tour guide, and transferred to Center City.
Then you will visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university constructed in the 11th century; the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past, then the interesting Vietnam History Museum displays a collection of nearly 7,000 objects which vividly depict the long process of Vietnam from its earliest inhabitants up to the 1945 August Revolution.
Take a walking tour around the Old Quarter streets which were named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake to learn about the legend of the lake.
Overnight in Hanoi
OPTIONAL: Experience at Hanoian’s home Dinner
This evening will deliver a special experience for your trip. You will meet, discuss and enjoy dinner with a family in Hanoi. It will be a good opportunity to understand a local’s homelife in Vietnam’s capital city. This visit is designed to give tourists an in-depth understanding of Hanoian culture and an authentic experience that could not be enjoyed without our arrangements.
Day 7 Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Van Long Natural Reserve
Starting from your hotel, we escape bustling Hanoi by land to the peaceful Van Long Nature Reserve in Ninh Binh. There will be a short rest at a house on stilts with some drinks and you will hop on a bike.
We enjoy a relaxing ride through peaceful and lush green villages, going through rice fields, fish ponds, and lotus ponds. Along the way, you might see cows or buffalos working in rice fields with farmers or relaxing under the shade (depending on rice season). Gain a glimpse of the real northern countryside by having a chat with friendly locals.
In the afternoon, we will ride to the boat pier for a rowboat trip to explore the stunning wetlands of Van Long, also a nature reserve of the area. This is home to a variety of birds. If you are lucky, you may see many birds and monkeys.
Get back to your hotel in Hanoi in the early evening.

Day 8 Hanoi – Halong Bay
Breakfast at your hotel and check out.
Leave your hotel, take a drive to Halong Bay with a short stop en route for some refreshments.
Upon arrival, board your deluxe junk where a welcome drink awaits. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the magical bay where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waters like dragon teeth.
After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swim in a quiet beach or sunbathe on the deck. Later in the afternoon, take a sampan ride to visit a floating fishing village. Back on board to enjoy cocktails while watching the sunset and later unwind at the restaurant for a lavish dinner.

Day 9 Halong Bay – Hanoi – Luang Prabang
Wake up early to catch the dramatic sunrise on the bay and enjoy a Tai Chi demonstration on the sun deck. Relax with a cup of hot coffee before departing to visit one of the most magnificent caves. Enjoy a brunch on board while cruising back to the pier, then transfer to Hanoi for your flight to Luang Prabang, the most interesting place in Laos. This World Heritage city is located in the north at the confluence of the Nam Khan River and Mekong River and has numerous historical and modern Buddhist temples and monasteries, colonial buildings, villas, intimate restaurants, and pleasant atmosphere.

Day 10 Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave
After breakfast, board a traditional long-tail boat for a leisurely cruise along the Mekong River to the famous Pak Ou Caves. Explore the magical cave systems, with the lower cave housing photogenic Buddha effigies and the upper cave accessible via a short climb through lush trees. On the way back to Luang Prabang, visit local villages specializing in silk weaving and Saa Paper production.
In the afternoon, visit the National Museum, displaying a rich collection of cultural artifacts. Explore the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong temple with its classic Luang Prabang architecture. Climb to the top of Phousi Mount for a sacred stupa and a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.
In the evening, enjoy leisure time at the Street Night Bazaar, offering a collection of handmade textiles by local and hill tribe artisans in Luang Prabang.

Day 11 Luang Prabang – Farming Life - Kuang Si Waterfalls
In the morning, transfer to a peaceful village with a local guide. Explore well-organized organic gardens and observe local farmers using traditional methods. Taste dishes made from their crops and visit a family-run workshop to create a bamboo tea filter as a souvenir. Enjoy a tasty lunch.
In the afternoon, drive through the beautiful Luang Prabang countryside, passing by rice fields, hills, and villages. Visit an unchanged ethnic minority village with a centuries-old culture. Reach Kuang Si Waterfalls and relax in its natural beauty.

OPTIONAL: Private Baci Ceremony & Home Hosted Dinner
Late afternoon, take a tuk-tuk to a local house, where you'll be warmly welcomed by your host. Participate in a Baci ceremony, during which white cotton strings will be tied around your wrist for good luck. Baci ceremonies celebrate special events like marriages, homecomings, births, and festivals. After the ceremony, savor authentic Lao cuisine, chat with locals, and then return to your hotel.

Day 12 Luang Prabang– Departure
Today we say goodbye to Luang Prabang, and board your flight back home or to the next destination.
