The art experience tour covers the must-see art places in Ho Chi Minh city. Start the trip with The Fine Art Museum for an overview of the art movement in Vietnam. Choose to stop at the Ben Thanh Art gallery and Apricot Art Gallery to admire contemporary artworks of the leading artists. End the tour at the private museum of a local art collector displaying artworks of local young artists.

In the evening, time to hop on our vintage Vespas and ride through the buzzing streets, alleyways, and back alleys, soaking in the illuminated sites, street food aromas, and lively sounds of the city. Set off for the Mekong Delta. After a two-hour pleasant drive, we arrived at Ben Tre (home for coconuts). Hop on our quaint motorized boat on the Ben Tre River – one of the tributaries of the Mekong River while enjoying lively activities along the river as fishing, water plugging to rice fields. Our outdoor activities include a visit to a brick kiln to see how to make bricks traditionally by printing and baking; visit a coconut processing workshop located along the canal, boat rowing through lush green water coconut canal;  Drive by motorized cart (tuk tuk) through shady paths, green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to experience real life and find out about tropical culture from peasants. Don’t miss a chance to visit a local family that lives on making sticky rice while sharing with them about the farmers’ family tradition and daily life 
Have lunch with the Mekong specialties at our selected scenic Riverside Restaurant, then we go back to Ho Chi Minh City.

The A O Show, for Ahhh! Ohhh!, depicts the charming beauty and cultural richness of Southern Vietnamese life in the countryside, in contrast with the nation’s racing urbanization. Our private car awaits to bring you to Da Nang airport for a short morning flight to Hanoi. 

Upon arrival in the capital city of Hanoi, you will be greeted by our representative and go to your hotel in the city center. 

In the afternoon, catch a glimpse of the city as your car passes by some iconic sites, then experience local life along the train tracks that is amazing and curious to Westerners, but this is just life here. Every day, the old-fashioned trains pass through what otherwise functions as a narrow alley in this residential area, a normal routine for people who live here. Make a stop at a local coffee shop, where you will enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee while watching the train pass by (the guide will advise you the best time to visit based on the train schedule). This allows you to feel the contrast between the old and modern vibes of this city. 

Lastly, hop on a cyclo (rickshaw) for a ride around the Old Quarter streets that were named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Cap off your trip by wandering around the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake “Lake of the Returned Sword” to learn about the legend of the lake and history of the city. Back to your hotel and enjoy your free evening.

Overnight in Hanoi

Morning departure from downtown Hanoi for a scenic 3-hour drive southwest to Mai Chau. Located in Hoa Binh Province, Mai Chau is famed for its splendid scenery of mountains and valleys surrounded by lush landscape.

Upon arrival, check-in your accommodation and enjoy lunch with local specialties.In the afternoon, hop on your bicycle and ride leisurely through the beautiful valley of Mai Chau to explore surrounding villages and learn more about their daily lives including planting rice, herding buffaloes and building traditional houses.

In the evening, celebrate your special night with a romantic candlelight dinner in the balcony overlooking the incredible natural scenery of the Northwest mountains.

Today, you will take part in an interesting hands-on cooking experience combining a fun cyclo ride in the Old Quarter to Dong Xuan market, one of the biggest wholesale markets in Hanoi. Do as locals do, wander through the fresh food market, purchase the meal’s ingredients, taste some samples of street foods and tropical fruits, and prepare a proper Vietnamese meal and learn to decorate your dishes. Lunch is served with all the dishes prepared during the class. Share fun moments together.

In the afternoon, visit the Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest pagoda on the bank of West Lake.  Next, we will walk to Truc Bach Lake to visit the monument of John McCain, a famous American soldier and politician. 

Continue by foot to a busy street where you will learn more about how Hanoians cook and eat Phở. Since you must have had a big bowl (or several bowls) of traditional Phở noodle soup, and you are now here in the Phở capital, we would like to introduce you to different delectable types of this cuisine. The stories of Pho will be shared by our fascinating local guide during your tour tonight. First, you will be served varieties of Phở, and other delicious dishes that are not known by many outsiders. Then, explore a new way to enjoy this traditional food of Vietnam with the Phở cocktail. The story of how the “Phở'' Cocktail was invented will be told, and you will learn how it is loved and served at some select bars and lounges in the old town of Hanoi as a signature drink. Enjoy music & Phở in a glass at the bar where the special cocktail was created. Many signature cocktails are heavily influenced by Vietnamese culture and cuisine.
