DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN HANOI
Arrival at Noi Bai International Airport where you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the city center for check-in and a well-earned rest (official check in time is 14.00, early check in is subject to availability and chargeable)
Morning: Looking for something different beyond the usual tour? Today, drive to Huu Tiep Lake (or B52 Lake), where a B52 plane was shot down during the war. Examine the wreckage including the gear wheels and meet one of the witnesses to hear a snippet of the history and his unique experience watching the bomber crash into the lake.
To discover the culture and lifestyle of a country, there is nothing more authentic than visiting a local family. Savor a simple, yet tasty meal of traditional specialties prepared by the family members while chatting with the host about traditional culture and ways of life.
Afternoon: Life along the train tracks may look strange and curious to visitors, but this is just life here. Every day, old-fashioned trains go through what otherwise functions as a narrow alley in this residential area, a normal routine for people who live here.
Later on, continuing a captivating visit to the Temple of - a stunning masterpiece that stands tall as Vietnam's oldest University, constructed in 1070 to pay tribute to the great Confucius, his loyal disciples, and the remarkable Chu Van An, a revered icon in Vietnamese education.
Today we travel through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the rice field landscapes, water buffaloes and Vietnamese villages to HaLong Bay, one of the World Natural Heritages recognized by the UNESCO with over 3,000 spectacular limestone islands rising from the clear, emerald sea in the Gulf of Tonkin. Arrival at the port around noon, check in your luxurious cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink before checking into your cabin. While the boat is going through many rocky islets, caves, fish farms and beaches, your lunch will be served on board with fresh seafood. Explore one of the most beautiful caves in the bay. Free time afterwards for swimming or relaxing on the sundeck. Later, the boat moves to a quiet area to dock for an overnight stay. Dinner with Vietnamese food is served on board.

DAY 4 HALONG BAY – SCENIC FLIGHT - DANANG- HOI AN (185 KM~3 hour drive)
Wake up early to enjoy the dawn and start a perfect new day with Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck or enjoy the breath-taking views of the bay while the boat cruises leisurely in Ha Long Bay.
Breakfast or brunch is served while the boat cruises back from Halong Bay. The cruise disembarks at early noon.
After disembarking at the port, we will get on a seaplane for a 25-minute scenic flight for stunning bird's eye views of Ha Long Bay. As the flights are scheduled for the most advantageous and most beautiful times of day for sightseeing, this flight is sure to awaken “love at first sight” in you.
Take an easy ride to Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi for a short flight to Da Nang. Landing in Da Nang, you will be welcomed by our guide and head to Hoi An Ancient town.
Tonight, your accommodations are at the most luxurious and charming resort by the Thu Bon River and situated downtown where you can easily access any shops, restaurants and bars.

DAY 5 HOI AN CHARMING HERITAGE TOWN
In the morning, you will be driven in a charming vintage car to explore off-the-beaten track rural corners of Hoi An. Along the way, you might see cows or buffaloes plowing rice fields with farmers or lazily relaxing under the shade. Learn about the diversity of local plants and herbs and visit the home of local families to observe how they make rice wine, rice noodles and rice paper.
In the afternoon, take a walking tour around Hoi An Ancient Town. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Chinese Assembly Hall and a typical Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the interesting museums and the local market. There are numerous art galleries, souvenir and tailor shops where you can get express made-to-order clothes. The next visit is to the home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here you’ll have a brief introduction to the history, shape and color of lanterns, as well as the various stages of making them. You can now make a lantern of your own, decorate, pack and keep it as a souvenir of your time in Hoi An.

DAY 6 HOI AN AND YOUR FANTASY

DAY 7 HOI AN – CAN THO IN MEKONG DELTA (1.5 hour flight)
Spend time at your leisure to relax at the resort until transferring to the airport for your flight to Can Tho, the biggest city in the Mekong Delta.
Upon arrival at Can Tho Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your beautiful resort by the Hau River.
Spend your leisure time indulging in the hotel facilities, join a yoga session, have a spa treatment, sip afternoon tea and/or discover the unique flavors of the Mekong with a set menu prepared using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients (this extra service incurs a surcharge)

OPTIONAL: 1. Sunset Cruise on a Vintage Boat
In the late afternoon, take a cruise along the Hau River through the golden hour of sunset. The daily rustic local life along the riverbanks is colorfully reflected under twilight, after sunset. What a thrill for photographers! The experience is enhanced with tasty food and a cup of wine is served on board.
2. Private candlelight dinner in the open air
Private dinner under the Banyan trees or by the lake intensifies your lovely stay at Azerai Can Tho Resort.

DAY 8 MEKONG DELTA – HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON) 170 KM ~ 3.5 hour drive
Wake up in the early morning and board a local boat to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market. The waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats as you will see trading going on through the use of a traditional “offering pole”- exchanging consumer goods hanging on the pole for Mekong fruit and vegetables with local sellers. Have your camera ready as this vibrant wholesale market on the water makes for excellent photo opportunities, especially from the unique vantage point of your boat.
Next, visit a local rice noodle factory, where you view the process of manufacture – the owners may well be coming to the end of their days' work and hanging ‘noodle pancakes’ out to dry.
Go back to your resort for a fabulous breakfast and check out of your room. Our private driver awaits to take you to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 9 HO CHI MINH CITY SIGNATURE ON VINTAGE SIDECAR
Explore the must-see highlights of Ho Chi Minh City by special transportation, a unique vintage sidecar motorbike. Start the journey with a drive through Rue Catinat, make a stop at Notre Dame Cathedral, and then head across the square to the Central Post Office. A short drive brings you to the Reunification Palace, the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American War. The last stop of the journey is at the War Remnants Museum for a vivid perspective of the American War through Vietnamese eyes.

DAY 10 HO CHI MINH CITY – CON DAO ISLAND RETREAT PARADISE
Con Dao Island is voted as one of the 10 most beautiful and mysterious islands around the world by Travel & Leisure. It is being chosen today as a PARADISE FOR LEISURE RETREAT and for exploring nature even though it served as a prison for political prisoners during French rule, and later, when Saigon imprisoned political opponents. It was known as " Hell on Earth" in Vietnam when it was once a prison of " no return".
History aside, Con Dao is blessed with stunning, white sandy beaches and rich coral reefs that represent the best diving in Vietnam. The islands have been declared a National Park, and there are rewarding rain forest hikes to remote bays. Con Dao is really a "magical place" in the South of Vietnam.
Leisurely enjoy your luxury breakfast at the Park Hyatt Saigon, then take a short private limousine drive to Tan Son Nhat Airport for a short flight to Con Dao Island.

DAY 11 CON DAO ISLAND - STUNNING BEACH VACATION

Explore the island on a two-wheel motorbike (2-4 hours).
With a map and a motorbike, you can uncover secrets of the island. Approximately 5 kilometers away is the main town, the market, historical sites, beautiful scenery and friendly locals. If you hire an English speaking local guide, you will maximize the discovery of these places.
Local life on Con Dao Island (3 hours)
Discover the island and find out what authentic Con Dao daily life is all about. Travel across the island with your guide, through the back roads, small dwellings and local agricultural plots. Along the way, you'll see Ben Dam Harbor, Nhat Beach and Shark Cape, Van Son Tu Pagoda, the Shrine to Lady Phi Yen and a local market. Your trip will end over a traditional Vietnamese coffee.

DAY 12 CON DAO ISLAND - STUNNING BEACH VACATION

Private Sunset Getaway by Six Senses Con Dao (2 hours)Travel by boat to the Western side of Con Dao, passing by Ca Map Cape (Shark Cape) and Dinh Tinh Yeu (Lovers Peak) before stopping on the far side of Hon Ba (Grandmother Island). Here you’ll witness an overwhelming display of colors as the sun slowly dips over the horizon.
Diving and Snorkeling day trip (half day or full day): Con Dao is Vietnam’s best diving destination. There are 16 sites from which to dive on this island and the high season for diving is from March to September, however July and August are rainy months. Other months are low season due to high winds, though sometimes the weather is calm enough for activities. Con Dao offers deep sites for certified divers and shallow areas for snorkelers and beginners. You can choose a day tour from 45 mins to 1hr 20mins diving, whichever is best for you or request a customized private trip.
Discover the history of Con Dao Island. This tour shows you the rich history of Con Dao and will delve into its darker side. A series of prison systems were constructed throughout the 113 years of colonization, during which time many thousands of prisoners were interned here and Hang Duong Cemetery.
